First Medical Service Project of Rotary Year 2026–27
Rotary Club of Panvel Central successfully conducted its first Medical Service Project of Rotary Year 2026–27 on 11 July 2026, focusing on the health and nutritional well-being of pregnant women.
As part of this initiative, free protein-rich nutritional food was distributed to pregnant women, with the aim of supporting better maternal nutrition and promoting the healthy development of their babies.
Valuable Guidance on Maternal Health
The programme was graced by Dr. Sanjeevani Gune, who served as the key guide for the initiative. She provided valuable guidance to the participating women on the importance of proper nutrition, health, and well-being during pregnancy.
Her insights helped create greater awareness about the role of a balanced and nutritious diet in supporting both the mother and the developing child.
The programme was also attended by Corporator Mrs. Preeti George, whose presence added encouragement and support to this meaningful initiative.
A Commitment to Healthier Families
The project reflected Rotary Club of Panvel Central’s commitment to promoting maternal and child health through practical, community-focused initiatives.
The message behind the initiative was simple yet powerful:
“Healthy Mother, Healthy Baby.”
Through projects like these, Rotary Club of Panvel Central continues to turn its commitment to Service Above Self into meaningful action and contribute towards building a healthier and stronger community.
